2027 NZ Economics Forum
2026 is a pivotal year for Aotearoa New Zealand. With a general election ahead, the choices we make now will shape our nation’s trajectory for years to come.
That's why The New Zealand Economics Forum returned with the theme Big Choices for a Small Nation. Across the two days, the sessions offered policy insights and robust commentary on topics such as superannuation, MMP, the declining birth rate, trade versus security and more.
The conversations were thought-provoking and it was great hearing leading economists, policymakers, business and community leaders share their insights and debate the choices that will define New Zealand’s future.
