Read&Write is a literacy support tool that assists with everyday tasks such as reading text aloud, understanding unfamiliar words, and proofreading written work.

The University of Waikato provides a site‑wide license, giving all staff, students, and faculty full access to the app.

How to install

Below are guides on how to install the Read&Write app and connect it to your university account. Alternatively, you can find links to download the app on your preferred platform on the Everway website.

The browser extension is best used for online files (e.g. webpages, documents stored online like OneDrive or Google Drive) while the desktop app is used for offline files (e.g. documents stored on your computer).
