This paper introduces the use of action research methodology for an integrated work experience to identify communication needs in specific organisations from business, government, community or non-profit sector. Needs assessments and interventions are covered.

Delivery mode How the paper occurrence will be offered - in-person, online, or blended (FLEXI) to suit both in-person and online audiences.	Assessment weighting The internal assessment examination weighting indicates how much of the paper is internally assessed and how much is formally examined. Examinations are scheduled in a formal examination period.
