Management Communication develops the skills and strategies needed to communicate effectively within and across organisations. It focuses on how communication shapes culture, supports leadership, drives collaboration, and improves decision-making.

Students will explore areas such as professional speaking, communication ethics, organisational change, conflict resolution, and digital platforms. The subject balances practical communication tools with critical insights into how organisations are built and sustained through communication.

Graduates will be equipped to work in roles such as communication advisor, management consultant, facilitator, or community leader. These skills also complement careers in marketing, leadership, and public relations.

Management Communication is available as a minor.

To complete a minor in Management Communication, students must complete 60 points from the papers listed for Management Communication, including at least 30 points above 100 level. Students must complete COMMS103 and COMMS200.
