Te Manawa Building Works
Construction in and around Te Manawa – Student Centre (M Block) is underway and will continue for 18 months. As work progresses, sections of the building will be temporarily closed off. See this page for current construction zones and building impacts.
What's happening right now?
Level 4
- From Monday 23 February 2026, part of Level 4 including the Mahi Māreikura room and the bookable Library Group Study Rooms on the 'Pā side' of the floor will be inaccessible.
- The public access lift and bathrooms on Level 4 remain accessible.
Collection Access Changes:
- Teaching Resources have moved from TL Block to Level 3 Te Manawa.
Noise impacts
The Library is a priority space for you to do focused and quiet work. We are aware that during the construction period, noise from nearby building works activity may impact to the usual quiet environments in Te Iho o Te Manawataki | Library spaces. The noisiest work will happen at night to minimise disruption to students, staff, and visitors.
Alternative space arrangements
You can access 24/7 computer suites on Level 0 of the MSB building, across Hillcrest Road in the Management School.
