Accessibility on campus

Information and resources relating to accessibility at both our Hamilton and Tauranga campuses.

Hamilton campus

Mobility parking

There are a number of mobility parks available on the Hamilton city campus, their locations can be viewed on the Hamilton campus map.

To access a mobility parking space you must be a holder of a Mobility Parking Permit issued by the CCS Disability Action or a Temporary Mobility Parking Permit.

Evacuation assistance

If you think you might need help during an emergency evacuation, you may benefit from a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP). This is a tailored plan that outlines the support or steps you may need to safely leave a building during an emergency.

If you’d like more information or would like to have a PEEP created, please contact the Accessibility team.

Tauranga campus

Mobility parking

Mobility parking is available around the Tauranga campus, however, a Mobility Parking Permit is required. The Tauranga City Council now provides the Tauranga Access Map, which can be used to find accessibility information for hundreds of locations, including carparks, playgrounds, council facilities, and local businesses.
